This is the project kickoff phase where the fundamental groundwork is laid. It includes developing the business case, checking feasibility, creating initial solution designs, establishing the value proposition, getting contract approval, forming the team, defining work scope via a Statement of Work, and creating the project charter.

This stage focuses on creating detailed plans for project execution. It involves developing the master plan, resource allocation, budgeting, quality management, risk management, change management processes, communication strategies, procurement planning, and conducting the formal project kick-off.

This phase centers on gathering and analyzing project requirements. Activities include investigation, data analysis, BPR (Business Process Reengineering), business modeling, system prototyping, formalizing requirements, verifying scope, making plan adjustments, and getting final requirement sign-off.

This is where the actual product/system development occurs. It includes designing user interactions, creating business views, configuring the product, customizing features, system testing, debugging, and performing system sign-off procedures. This phase focuses on building and validating the solution.

This stage involves deploying the solution into production. Key activities include site preparation, deployment, product education, user documentation, data migration, user training, commissioning the system, managing cutover to the new system, and obtaining UAT (User Acceptance Testing) & final sign-off.

The final stage focuses on running and maintaining the deployed solution. It includes trouble-shooting, maintaining a library of resources, providing onsite support, help desk services, regular system inspections, reinforcement training, system patching, updates, and formal project closure.
